British Military Facilities to House Asylum Seekers in Initiative to Terminate Hotel Use
Several hundred refugee applicants could be placed in military barracks as the authorities works to phase out the reliance of hotels.
Discussions are ongoing regarding the use of two facilities - one in the Scottish region and another in the southern England - for housing for 900 men.
The PM has ordered Home Office and Defense Department authorities to accelerate initiatives to find suitable armed forces locations.
The ruling party has committed to end the operation of temporary hotel accommodations, which have consumed billions of pounds and turned into a primary concern for anti-asylum seeker rallies.
Planned Defense Locations
Individuals might be housed in the Cameron military facility in Inverness and East Sussex training site in southeastern England by the end of next month.
Industrial sites, temporary accommodation and previously unused facilities are also being examined for future accommodation.
Administration Statements
Administration officials confirmed that every facility would meet health and safety standards.
"The government remains furious at the extent of illegal migrants and asylum hotels."
"The current leadership will close all refugee hotels. Preparations are progressing effectively, with better facilities being brought forward to alleviate strain on communities and reduce refugee accommodation expenses."
Present Housing Statistics
Around 32 thousand refugee applicants are presently being accommodated in hotel facilities, representing a decrease from a high point of over 56,000 in the previous year.
A recent report found that substantial amounts of taxpayers' money had been "wasted" on migrant shelter.
Prior Military Site Usage
Two previous defense facilities - the Wethersfield facility in Essex and former military base in the southern county - are presently being used to accommodate refugee applicants after being established under the previous administration.
The administration head stated on the circumstances, indicating: "I am resolved to shut down every refugee hotel. I can't tell you how disappointed and concerned the administration feels that we face a mess as big as the current circumstances by the former leadership."
